Bio
Ben Shotten is the Managing Estate Planning Attorney in our Fort Washington office. He is licensed to practice in both Michigan and Pennsylvania, and brings a down-to-earth, client-focused approach to every matter. A native New Yorker, Ben completed his studies at SUNY Albany (BA), Cooley Law School (JD), and Canisius University (MSA). Before stepping back into full-time legal practice, he spent 11 years with the Tampa Bay Lightning as a member of a two-time Stanley Cup winning front office. During his time with the Lightning, he learned the power of preparation, consistency, and teamwork; all lessons he uses to guide his approach when working with clients today. When he’s not working with clients, Ben spends his time exploring new areas, trying new foods, and watching basketball.
