The Next Chapter of Oath Begins

Rod Yancy

Founder & CEO

For years, Oath has been rooted in one simple idea: that life feels better when you plan for what matters.

We’re here to help people protect what they’ve built, support the people they love, and make decisions today that will still make sense tomorrow. And while the tools we use—estate plans, retirement strategies, investment advice—are critical, the real work happens in the relationship. In the trust. In the feeling clients describe again and again: “I can finally breathe.”

This rebrand brings that full picture into focus. And doing it in a way that feels like Oath; calm, direct, and deeply human.

It was time to evolve.

Over the years, we heard the same thing again and again from clients:

“I didn’t realize how much I needed this.”
“It feels like a weight has been lifted.”
“I can finally stop worrying.”

But if you looked at our old site or brand, you might not have felt that right away. It was clean, but it didn’t quite reflect the experience of working with us. It didn’t show the humanity behind the planning. It didn’t give voice to the emotional weight that often brings someone through our door — the fears, the decisions, the desire to get it right for the people they love.

And most importantly, it didn’t reflect how much we’d expanded.

Many people still thought of Oath as an estate planning firm only. But more and more of our clients were asking bigger questions:

  • Am I invested in a way that makes sense for this season of life?
  • Are we making the most of our retirement income?
  • How can we avoid unnecessary taxes down the line?
  • And who can help me connect all of this so I don’t have to manage it alone?

That’s where Oath shines. Not just by offering both estate and financial planning — but by integrating them in a way that brings everything together.

Our rebrand was a way to say that more clearly.  And more importantly, to make it feel the way the work feels.

A more modern and mature Oath.

You’ll notice the changes right away.

The design is more modern. The colors are more inviting. The brand feels more fully realized—calmer, clearer, and more aligned with the way Oath actually feels in a room.

Visually, we wanted a brand that felt like our clients describe their experience with us: reassuring, trustworthy, thoughtful. So we updated the palette, brought in more color, refined the typography, and rebuilt the website around ease of use—not noise or flash.

Strategically, our goal was even simpler: to tell the full story without taking away from what matters most.

Estate planning is, and will continue to be, the core of what we do. It’s how most clients first engage with us, and it remains the heart of our business. But over time, many of those clients have come to rely on us for more—for retirement planning, investment advice, and questions that don’t stop at the edges of legal documents.

Our goal was to give language and structure to what’s already here. It’s about making space for the bigger picture without crowding out the foundation.

We didn’t need to change direction. We just needed to say it better.

What hasn’t changed.

Our work is still grounded in one simple idea: life is short, plan accordingly. We don’t believe in fear-based planning. We don’t lead with scarcity or stress.

We believe in helping people feel more present in their lives by helping them get the hard stuff handled — with care, with attention, and with a team that shows up when it matters most.

We’re still the same people, the same process, the same steady presence our clients have trusted for years. What’s changed is how that shows up from the start — from your first click on the site to the way we talk about our work.

If anything, we’ve stripped things down to the essentials. And that’s the whole point.

What this means for you.

If you’re new to Oath, we hope the new brand makes it easier to understand what we do and how we do it. If you’ve worked with us before, this won’t feel like a shift — it will feel like the experience you already know, finally showing up on the outside.

“I feel a weight has lifted off me, knowing all is in place so my children will be fine when my time comes to join him.”

— Paula E., Client

What we’re building here isn’t just a service. It’s a relationship. A plan that evolves as your life does. A space where the details are handled so you can focus on what matters most.

Why now?

Because people need this kind of planning more than ever.

We’re living in a time when so much feels uncertain—our health, our families, our finances, our future. The weight of “what if” is heavier than it used to be. And far too often, people are carrying that uncertainty alone.

This rebrand is our way of saying: you don’t have to.

It’s an invitation to begin. Not from fear, but from intention. To get your financial life in order. To protect the people you love. To stop wondering if something important has been missed. And to live in a way that feels a little more open, a little more steady, a little more yours.

To those who’ve trusted us for years; thank you. You’ve shaped this next chapter in ways you may not even realize.

And to those just discovering Oath—we’re glad you’re here.

Take a look around. Explore the new site. Watch the video. Meet the team. And when you’re ready, reach out. We’d be honored to walk this road with you.
